Amazing honey bees!
A honey bee could visit around 2000 flowers in a day, flying around 25 km per hour. You would be amazed to know that it takes about two million flowers for these bees to make just half a kg of honey. Not only that, but just one single bee colony can produce between 30 to 40 kg of honey in a year.
Turtles and their eggs
In some species of turtles, the temperature determines if the egg will develop into a male or female. Lower temperatures lead to a male while higher temperatures lead to a female. Some turtles lay eggs in the sand and leave them to hatch. The young turtles head for the top of the sand and scramble to the water, trying to avoid predators.
Interesting facts about sheep
Sheep are herbivores that eat vegetation such as grass. Their digestive system has four chambers which help break down what they eat. Sheep like to stay close to others in a herd, making it easier for them to move together to new pastures. They have a field of vision of around 300 degrees.
